Pinwheels for Peace
This year we are participating in the “Pinwheel for Peace Project”. The international day of peace is happening all day long on Sept. 21, 2020. This day is a reminder to choose peace. To each of us, peace can take on a different meaning. In the end, it all comes down to a simple definition: a state of calm and serenity, with no anxiety, the absence of violence, freedom from conflict or disagreement among people or groups of people. The pinwheel symbolizes a time when things were simple, joyful, and peaceful. The PTA is providing pinwheel kits to all of our students. We are hoping that you will spend time with your student putting the pinwheel together and enjoying the project. STEAM Night
January 2021 We plan to host our 3rd annual STEAM night. There will be many hands on activities for each student to experiment and learn with. In the past we have had great success with an amazing turn out. More information as the date nears.
Drive By, Honk, or Wave its a Halloween Car Parade!
Friday, October 30th
Line Up starting at 6:45 p.m. on Elizabeth Street. The Car Parade will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Kids in costume will be allowed to walk the school sidewalk along side their parents moving vehicle and will be given a treat bag provided by the Kerhonkson Ladies Auxiliary, children will return to their vehicle, this will be the end of the car parade. We need an accurate RSVP of students planning to attend, so we can plan how many treat bags to prepare. Please RSVP to KESPTA@yahoo.com
Ssips and Paint
In 2020, we are planning to do a virtual Ssips and Paint. We will send out an RSVP form ahead of time, and will have packets for participants to pick up (date and location TBD) Then we will demonstrate the class via Zoom.
Virtual Book Fair
Book Fairs are a great opportunity to buy some new books! This year, we will host a virtual book fair. The PTA will get 25% in scholastic dollars from everything purchased during our Book Fair dates 11/6 - 11/19. To purchase, visit our link: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/kespta
Holiday Food Drive
Every year, we work together as a community to gather holiday food items for Thanksgiving. More information for our 2020 collection will be available as the event nears.
Spirit Wear
Shouting School Pride School Wide! We have some great Spirit Wear Items that will let everyone know you are part of our team! If you would like more information about the items we have in stock, or suggestions for items you would like to see. Please contact us!

Literacy Night
Literacy is a themed fun family night that we host to encourage reading, writing and thinking. Students and their families tour different stations to learn more together. More information as the date nears.
