About the Event
This year we are participating in the “Pinwheel for Peace Project”. The international day of peace is happening all day long on Sept. 21, 2020. This day is a reminder to choose peace. To each of us, peace can take on a different meaning. In the end, it all comes down to a simple definition: a state of calm and serenity, with no anxiety, the absence of violence, freedom from conflict or disagreement among people or groups of people. The pinwheel symbolizes a time when things were simple, joyful, and peaceful. The PTA is providing pinwheel kits to all of our students. We are hoping that you will spend time with your student putting the pinwheel together and enjoying the project.
